Cuvée Pure Meunier:

Cuvée Pure Meunier is a special Champagne from Champagne Moutardier that focuses exclusively on the Meunier grape variety. This cuvée celebrates the distinct qualities of Meunier and showcases its potential to create exceptional sparkling wines on its own.

The Meunier Grape:

Meunier, also known as Pinot Meunier, is a grape variety that plays a significant role in the Champagne region. While often overshadowed by Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, Meunier brings its own unique character to the table. It is known for its approachability, fruitiness, and a softer, more rounded flavor profile.

Flavors and Aromas:

Cuvée Pure Meunier offers a captivating array of flavors and aromas. Expect a bouquet of red fruits, including ripe strawberries and juicy raspberries, complemented by subtle floral notes. The Meunier grape brings a certain depth and richness to the Champagne, resulting in a harmonious and well-rounded palate.

Texture and Finish:

When you experience Cuvée Pure Meunier, you'll be greeted by a fine and persistent effervescence, creating a delightful texture on the palate. The wine offers a balance of fruitiness, acidity, and a touch of toasty complexity. The finish is long and satisfying, leaving a lasting impression.

La robe is enlivened by fine, lively bubbles that feed a delicate collar. The rather dense and satiny disc closes a rich and nuanced visual sensation

Aromas The first nose evokes scents of ginger, pippin apple, lemon zest. Allowed to breathe, it develops notes of peach skin, yellow grapefruit and dried apricot. It reveals after a few minutes smells of quince compote, flint, jasmine, orange, mirabelle plum, fig.

Palate The approach on the palate is supple and fresh with a creamy and melted effervescence. The wine develops with a luscious and fleshy substance reminiscent of citrus fruits, yellow and white fruits. The mid-palate is orchestrated by a clay minerality that gives roundness, coating and fruity juiciness. The iodized freshness and citrus aromas prolong the pleasure of the palate towards a delicately melted and saline finish, whose tension enhances the fruity gluttony and the mineral aromas of flint.
