The fleshy Chardonnays of Grauves and Vertus bring substance to the wine. The Pinots Noirs from Sermiers and Cumières bring balance through their aromatic finesse. To maintain this identity, the blend was made with a great red wine from Verzenay, whose terroir offers lively and dense expressions of small cherries.
